The purpose of Whole Hope Yoga is to worship the Lord through Scripture, prayer, meditation, repentance, breath-work, and movement. Whether you are a seeker or believer in Jesus Christ, whether you can touch your toes, or barely stand up straight,
you are welcome at Whole Hope Yoga.

Mark 12:30 tells us to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.” The practice of Whole Hope Yoga is unique in that it allows all of who we are – soul, mind and strength - to be immersed in the worship of the Lord. It is a holy pursuit. It is simply a practice of heart, mind, and body that is focused on God and ready to surrender all and receive all he has to give.


The practice of yoga has been developed and adopted by many religions and each has different intentions and purposes for the practice. Much like prayer and fasting have been adopted by many religions, yoga's intention and pursuit varies depending on the religion. Yoga simply means, “to yoke.” As a Christian, I am yoked with Christ. Holy simply means to be “set apart.” At Whole Hope Yoga our practice is set apart to glorify God and live into all that he has created us to be.

When I attended I did not know what to expect and thought maybe I would not get a good workout. I was delighted that BOTH aspects of the class were so strong ie: yoga and the presence of the Holy Spirit. I have frequented several central yoga studios on a regular basis over the last 5 years and I know of no other class that tops your leadership and talent.
